I'm currently uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers...

A bit late now probably but you may want to de-authorise the game from your PC before you install drivers.

Just play with one card on lower settings for now, it still looks amazing on very high or even medium settings. Atleast then you can play it. Otherwise your going to have to wait for a patch.

JUst disable one card till it gets fixed then run it at a lower screen res, running mine @1900x1200 maxed out on my 6970, tryed running it at 2560x1600 diddant run to bad if I lowerd the setting abit.

Or just run it at your native screen res and lower the settings.

I'm not installing mine until the dx 11 fix is out and this flickering issue its done

I play on 2560 too and seeing as this is meant to be a **** game I want its only saving grace..the graphics..to be good . Although I know the graphics are not amazing

Make s you want to go back to consoles. I definitly am when the next gen ones come out ..paying for a product like this isn't good enough..any other object like clothes etc you would demand a refund. I didn't happen before internet patches became common place

Have a look on the steam forum, I found a fix for my 4870x2 someone made a programme that lets you change loads of setting, AA, DOF, etc and it fixes the flickering issue.

I renamed the exe to FEAR.exe and then when in game move the brightness slider up one notch then back down again - voila, no flickering

The new AMD crossfire profiles resolve this issue. The game is still crap though.

i just installed the patch as instructed
loaded up the radeon pro app
loaded in the crysis 2.exe
turned everything to default in CCC
in tweaks in radeon pro i set crossfireX profile to FEAR
turned off MVPU
v-sync is on in game

played it

flicked the brightness up and down while in game

Al4x, that doesn't make sense mate

MVPU is either Driver Default or off for Crossfire X, which means setting it to FEAR pointless? Do you mean you set AA profile to FEAR?

I cant play at all on my 6990

if i load it, i have to have 999 on standby.
