Hey guys first of all I'm now I'm my iPhone so I can't post any pics, but my computer is screwed! If you look a few threads down you can see I was playing with my RAM voltage... Big mistake! The only thing I changed was the voltage use to "automatic detection" from "user defined" and the voltage went from 2.10v to 1.80v and now when I try to boot up my pc I am met with a black screen full of artifacts and the system just freezes up! I can't access BIOS to change it back or anything?! Please help I've been so stupid :(

disconnect from the power socket, is there a cmos reset button or a pair of pins to short out to clear the cmos?

if not pull the watch battery out, while its got no power

There will be a battery on your motherboard, which powers the cmos - removing this while all power is disconnected will reset the cmos and hopefully sort you out. Leave the battery out for a minuite, put it back in and power up.

its above the second 16X pci-e slot

Thanks guys! Managed to sort it, but i just took put a 1gig stick in and it booted up ok! Must have been the voltage to low for 3gig of RAM?! So the lesson i have learnt is that too low voltage will screw you up if you have to much RAM so to get my 4gig working i need to go up instead of down?

Thanks again guys :)

forgive me sounding rude, but they said to "increase/upping" the voltage in your other thread
