Guys,

Ok i got delivered a ddc 18w pump with the xspc resevoir pre fitted and when i turned it on nothing ?

After taking advice from you guys I gave it a few taps even dismantled the top and turned the pump by my finger a few times and still nothing.

So I thought ok this pump is dead :( wont go into details but would have been a lengthy process to get a replacement.

So bit the bullet and got another dcc pump this time it came with the acrylic top. I thought fine i can just swap the tops over.

So i swapped tops over and guess what nothing again

No as you can imagine I am a litle cheesed of not too mention extremely out of pocket.... so I rigged some form of a loop up and tried the acrylic top on and it worked

So i put the resevoir back on and again nothing

So i thought maybe its too tight so i loosened the screws to the point where it starts to leak (being not tight enough) and it bloody worked. but then when i slightly tighten to stop the leaks it dont run??

Can someone help me out here lol I have even tried both the o rings that was supplied with my previous pump and the latest one and still nothing it only works when i loosen the screws to the point where the fluid begins to leak then it will spin ?? And there is only 1 o ring you use which has a grove it sits in so cant get that wrong?

Please someone help me its driving me nuts I thought this was a good pump/resevoir combination but i have spend a fair bit on these pumps etc and still none the wiser.

As for my previous pump that dont work full stop so obviously a dead one (whether that was due to my current problem that caused it to die who knows.

I urgently await your help guys
