I've had an intermittent problem with my ADLS2 broadband for a while now where it randomly disconnects/reconnects and this lasts for about a period of a week. It's suffering from this at the moment as you can see HERE
Everything internally has been checked and the problem occurs even when connected to the master socket. The modem has been changed as have all cables & filter but the problem still remains.
Whenever I call Sky about this they will send a BT engineer who tests the line and says there is no noise on the line and it's clear. Sky then close the call and the fault usually clears itself by them or just before the engineer arrives.
I use a Draytek 2860 and have tried another Draytek 2860 as well. I've never tried a SKy modem as I don't have one.
What do you think the problem could be and how do I get it sorted as the broadband is unsable during the period that the problem occurs?
