Just gone to power up first time and have no functionality at all.

MoBo has power as the strix lighting immediately started glowing, but no power is getting to anything else

Have checked all terminations etc, have been extremely careful during installation and I’m at a bit of a loss to be honest

help massively needed :(

General information on build

x570 Rog strix, 3700x, seasonic focus gold 1000w

Only two bits of evidence for any power are the motherboard I/o cover rgb lighting and the network port flashing. Will grab a meter and check power elsewhere shortly

Ruled out fault power button, leads look ok no pins have come out of the sockets, motherboard is getting power but something is stopping it from booting

Do you have a GPU installed? That CPU has no IGP so you need a GPU.

Yeah using my Rx480 from my old rig.

This was working fine before

As said however it doesn’t even seem as though power is getting down this far. I have no fault LEDs on the board showing, my AIO isn’t booting up pump or fans, nothing apart from the strix i/o cover is working.

my PSU fan isn’t coming on but my last seasonic didn’t until under load either

Have you tested the PSU? Have you checked that you're using the correct 8 pin power connector to the motherboard? And made sure it's plugged into the right socket on the PSU?

Hmm... you are using the cables that came with the PSU and not the ones from your old Seasonic, aren't you?

Can you try another psu?

Might be worth trying out of the case.

Thanks for the replies so far but I’ve connected an old PSU and it’s posted immediately so either cables or psu itself is the problem

disappointing :( was hoping to use tonight

Done the whole single sticks of ram in various slots thing?

Does your mobo have any lights that tells you where it's stopping?

Problem solved thanks all.
Faulty cable mods cable to the GPU was causing the system not to boot. Replaced with the spare and good to go.

Frustrating I didn’t find that earlier as I wouldn’t have had to rip my lovely cable management to pieces!
