Only recently this has been happening, but on every game it would load fine for a moment, looking nice, then bam the screen goes mental, all games glitch like the picture below, before freezing then it's alt + f4 time. I returned my GPU and CPU back to stock speeds...still not working, I did update the nvidia driver recently, re-downloaded it as I thought it was bugged. Didnt help. Please advise!

MSI. Tried using device manager hoping to roll back driver, it doesnt even give me the option! I cannot find the last driver before the latest one on nvidia :/

AMD Athlon X2 240 - 4GB OCZ 1333MHZ 9-9-9-20 - MSI cyclone 460GTX 768MB - 640GB WD SATA2 - OCZ 850W Plus 80 gold - Windows 7 Ultimate

Its strange because I've been playing games like Crysis 2, Bulletstorm etc which require a lot without issues, then it just went. Whats strange (because my old 4850 failed big time) is this only happens once past the menu of games. I'm guessing thats because it doesn't require much power for the menu?

Yes, to put it bluntly, to september this year. ;) (unless it was B-grade)

This is a sign of core failure, but at the same time, this can also often be seen in DirectX problems/Driver problems/Game incompatibility. Make sure to rule those out.

I would personally start off by running the error check function of OCCT, if nothing shows it's probably not the card.

If it helps, I've seen the same artifacts alt tabbing Far Cry 2, on two different cards. :)
how long do I run the test for?

Currently installing the driver you suggested, another interesting turn out. Msi afterburner now says I have no supported device lol..

Ah, well older driver fully installed. Tried loading the games, still not working.

Bulletstorm, before main menu loaded, artifacts on the right then it completely froze.

This happened after VT4 froze, happens after EVERY game is loaded...

This is the worst I've seen, VT4 Main menu before crash.

Odd, my old GFX card that failed even had artifacts on the desktop. I also bought a new PSU 2 weeks ago, but I DOUBT it would be that?

Not tried that yet, Ive not moved my case or anything. Will try in 10mins
