About a week ago I spilled a cup of tea on my Microsoft Wireless Optical 1000 keyboard. Since then no keyboard has been able to work. The wireless is obviously dead, but when I plug in another keyboard whether USB or PS/2 and then press a key, my computer makes a noise, not from the speakings but from the computer itself and nothing happens. I've tried uninstalling the Microsoft keyboard and trying another keyboard again, but still to no avail. The wireless mouse still works fine, and even some of the quick keys (my documents, pictures etc.) work on the keyboard. In an attempt I tired to reinstall windows, but now I can't get through the blue start up screens, and I've become stuck. Any ideas what I can do? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
