Major League Baseball - How long have the BBC been showing it?

I've only just noticed the BBC are showing Major League Baseball on their Red Button channel. The final regular season games have just finished so I assume they are now going to be showing all the post season games? I've never really seriously followed it really but I've always been fascinated by baseball. I think it's down to us having nothing like this in our sporting calendar which gives it a high novelty factor for me and just the way the Americans build the atmosphere like they do around a simple game of Rounders. They had Jimmy Anderson on pundit duty the other day so they were trying to associate it with cricket which seems a bit of a stretch, but Jimmy seemed to be enjoying himself anyway. I know you can get it on TNT sports, but it was a nice surprise to stumble across it for free on the BBC
