Hi there, so I was having difficulty with my pc as described below in red and since I was wanted to upgrade anyhow I got a new case, mobo, RAM, and CPU which is in my sig I also have a new GPU (the 980ti in my sig) on its way now.

This does not seem to have resolved my issues though. I put it all together and formated both storage drives with the windows disk and then installed windows onto them. Booting initially seemed fine but after a few restarts due to installing bios and drivers and the like my SSD wont boot when i select it I am given a message saying it needs to be repaired and my HDD will briefly BSOD then reboot too. I have no clue whats wrong but feel like my PSU might be the culprit?

I only kept my SSD, HDD, PSU and GPU so I assume one of them is at fault?

'When playing games usually after a few hours of use the display suddenly starts to black out or occasionally seriously artefact, the audio continues unaffected and the display recovers then fails in a cycle until the audio freezes up and the display cuts out either restarting or requiring a manual restart. I also assume my pc has crashed when the audio locks up as it is totally unresponsive. Neither my CPU or GPU get that hot when this is happening 59 degrees max on my GPU and 71 max on the CPU. I have also had crashes when just watching videos it is just more common for them to happen with games.
system: i7-920, 6 GB RAM, GTX 780, Corsair TX750 PSU, Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R and running windows 7 64 bit.'

Have a quick look in event viewer, for the time of the latest event. It may help to shed some light on your issue.

I have removed my GPU and tried to boot but my copy of windows is broken now, so I tried to use the install disc to fix it and despite it registering in my bios windows sees no drives

Its the i7 920 PC?

If so pop in the BIOS and set the sata ports to ahci mode before you install windows, also look for qpi/vtt voltage and manually set it to 1.35v
