make a install disc

Hi guys and girls

Is it possible to make a installation disc from files already installed onto a hard drive? I have some old software programme that has gone bust and no longer trades, I have lost the installation disc but have it installed on a old hard drive.

is there anything I can to other than back up the install files from the hard drive? I have tried copying them and pasting them onto a new hard drive but this did not work correctly. :confused:

What software is it? There could be registry files that would need installing as part of the install.

The operating system is xp it is installed onto and the software is called winPCM (piece counting and measuring)
