Make a see through sphere

this is really random but am trying to make a see through sphere.

I need to be able to put a little bit of paper in it so you can read it.

The only idea I have had is to find a sphere mould and fill it with PVA glue and leave it to dry (not sure if it will dry see through)

Other idea is using a glue gun.

Anyone know any other good ideas?

is there some sort of gel I can buy?

Don't they already have a similar thing in the shops or something IIRC. I think it's made out of plastic.

Laminate the paper...fill globe/sphere/ball with water?

You'll need some kind of resin (I can't remember what it's called exactly), and a mould of course, and you can stick something in the middle before it sets.

Just buy one... You can get see through plastic balls from places.

Maybe something like a see through ballon? Try the card shops they might have something?
