Make a server to shut down/go into standby at a certain time then reboot at a certain time.

As title, I want my server to go into standby/lowest power mode at say 2am and then wake up on its own at say 9am and carry on..........reason being I'm not awake at these times and wish to save electricity.

Is this possible and if so how ?

I use free software called Smartpower to do this, you can set up conditions where it won't go to sleep until they are met. The main one I use is a certain level of traffic over the NIC card to prevent it shutting down when downloading or streaming video. The software then sets a windows power event to wake the pc backup automatically at the time you set.
