Hi, I have my windows 8 download files in a ESD folder which contains a number of files. Is it possible to create a win 8 ISO from those files, If so how.

The upgrade assistant, won't let me run it again.

Used ImgBurn to create an ISO of the c:\ESD\Windows\ contents, then used rufus_v1.2.0 to create a bootable USB pen drive from the ISO (or burn a disk in imgburn). then boot to the USB drive or dvd.

use the link in your email. not upgrade assistant

This is true, I made a USB stick but then I desperately needed it for something else after install. Go through the link in the order email and download again, and save as an .iso when you reach that screen. I did this on the same computer I installed win 8 pro on.

if you have the ESD folder you do not need to re-download. I created an ISO from it and did a fresh install with no problems.
