Just a quickie.
I know pretty much the square root of bugger all about this, so I'm after help. :D

I want to turn my Canon Pixma into a wireless printer. Will this act as a generic wireless connector?

Help me plz chaps.

Thanks.

Edit: Sorry about the link. Brain fade.

The link you posted (oops competitor...) is for a bluetooth device, so unless you have bluetooth capability on your computer it wont help. The link Mogwai posted is regular wireless ethernet, and should be just the ticket for converting a USB printer to a wireless device.

But as I have Bluetooth already, will this option save me having to shell out for a wireless print server?
Just trying to be a cheapskate really. :D

I just use the bluetooth on my Canon MP600, its over the other side of the room to tidy the place up a bit.
Bluetooth is fine as far as i'm concerned, it works sooo well with my iMac, not sure if its so straight-forward on a PC though.
Why the need for wireless as opposed to bluetooth?

Rearranged PC room to accomodate a sofabed for the GrandGremlins when they come to stay. :(
Need a simple, cheap solution so I can have my Canon on the other side of the room, I have a PC bluetooth adaptor already and just wondered if the HP BT500 Bluetooth adapter would do the job or can anyone suggest something else that isn't going to cost me £60 for a wireless print server?
