so with a bit o tinkering i hit 2914mhz on my 4400 toledo @ 1.456v on the stock cooler, completly stable BUT ! ! ! when i ran 3D05 i got a whopping 2500
but when i ran it at 2.8ghz i get a 9000 somthing. i have a bfg 7900gt @ 555mhz.

i played vegas to see how it ran and it was fine and rock solid.

any idea's ?

Hmmm...thats a strange one. Could be that the CPU/GPU is throttling with too much heat.

now that sure is crazy!!! possibly gpu drivers are the fault, try upgrading them.

i lowered my cpu back to 2.8ghz and now im getting 2057 in 3D05 and 4005+ in 3D06, im am so confused. im going to uninsatll and reinstall the drivers.

If you are running 93.71 try dropping back to 91.47. 93.71 Wiped 5000 points off my rig in 05 as well as making it unstable.
