Hi Guys,

Need some basic photoshop help as Im not sure how to do this...

Basically Ive got a circular image that I want to fit into a triangular shape without cropping it - I guess I need to do some kind of mask but I dno how to do it...

I know it will be skewed but want to keep it as a whole if possible. Ive tried to do a triangle layer mask but that only shows the space the triangle exposes and doesnt look great (the edges of the original image have detail)

Any ideas?

TIA

It's going to be stretched no matter what you do. You just can't fit a circular peg into a triangular hole without squashing it a bit.

Set the circular image on it's only layer and then have the triangle in the background as a guide then go through the transform tools until you find the best one for the job. It's handy to be zoomed out a bit at this stage so you have edges beyond the image to drag the points to.

EDIT: And keep the points symetrical!
