Going to make a computer for £550
May you please suggest the pieces. Something that will last for many years

Don't need hard drive or power or ram.
Have Hyper DDR2 kingson ram

DDR2??

nothing uses DDr2 anymore unless your going second hand even then most use DDR3
 
I would say if your existing components are of the same era, I would replace the whole lot. You can get a decent spec system, with new ram, ssd (or hard drive), and psu for your budget.

LOL. Good luck tracking down pre-2008 components that can use it.

If you don't tell us what you're using the PC for we can't suggest parts.

Is this going to be used for gaming, productivity, general browsing, or all of the above? Anything but gaming would mean £550 should see you easily manage it, however a decent graphics card alone would take up a hefty chunk of your budget.

Seriously though, you need to provide MUCH more detail on what it will be used for, before anyone can give you specific help.
