Just got my iPhone 4 and couldnt wait so I decided to cut my full size T-Mobile sim to micro sim sized.

All is working fine and I have 3G signal, however browsing is a little slow.

Would making my own sim cause slower 3G or problems?

Thanks

I tried that when I got my iPhone 4, didn't work at at all, so I had to go into town to the Voda shop and get a real microSIM :p

I wanted to knOw this also, get a 4 and can't be arsed to ring O2 and order one,
But on the other hand I'm scared to cut my sim up,
Is their a "How To" any where on the net? I cant find one

I was nervous too, but they are really easy to cut with kitchen scissors and it worked first time :)
I definitely wouldn't fork out £7.00 for a cutter

The sim cutter is actually brilliant if you use those 3 month 3 sims because you end up cutting them quite frequently, turns a 5 minute job into 5 seconds and no risk. If it stops you messing up a £7 sim then its paid for itself.
