hi
need more help im afraid.im instaling XP onto a raid so i think i need raid drivers as not on xp home edition cd.
so i tryed to use my asus support dvd but after selecting xp raid driver from make disk menu it says 'unable to get disk information'
ive tried to browse the cd to locate the file but not sure what to look for.i then read nvidia's pdf about raid driver and it mentions using'-x'to extract the file or something..dose that mean i have to extract the raid driver from the xp nforce chipset driver? plz help im getting confuzzled now(dont take much)
tbh i was expecting this make disc to be ez and be on my way to installing xp now sigh...

thanks deagan.i tried whatu said and it now appears i have problem with floppy drive as i cant even format a floppy-says'insert disc'
its a usb2.0 card reader/floppy but i wasnt to sure about whether to plug it into my mobo int. usb connection so i used a standard floppy cable-i had the cable round the wrong way (floppy end) as no keyway.i reversed it and it looked to be working(light on) but as i say cant even format a disc..could i have damaged it doing this?and would i be better using the usb connection?
im going round to a friends to borrow a ext floppy so hopefully i can then get started
