Making a return to PC gaming

Out of interest how big is your monitor? If its a 24" and above you might struggle with a few games at high/er settings, below that size and I dont see a problem running anything.

It will be some time before it hits a bargain bin and if you do this you are missing out. It's truely excellent.

Really? The handling is terrible, granted the visuals are  but I found the handling very disappointing.

I look forward to the debacle that they will turn the next F1 game into.

i just got back from town and got my pc working and im just about to install my gathering of games.

Company of Heroes + opposingfronts
C&C3 Kane Edition
UT3
Football manager 2008 (not gonna push the computer but its addictive)
and i got orange box yesterday

also for the misses:
CSI 3 dimensions of murder
Rayman 3
and a free 14 day trial of guild wars to go with the 99p 14 day trial of WoW

very nearly got COD4 but i decided to try get some of the other games done first

Also im more of a sim racing fan so Grid isnt my kinda game (i did try the demo but didnt like it too much)

the above lists are great.

for me the best would be:

orangebox
counter strike source
company of heroes
call of duty 4 (im betting u will enjoy it more than crysis)
battlefield 2 (must play)

you might want to give some oldies ago to:
far cry, vietcong, the gta games , <<< to name a few.
