I just got myself a Huawei MediaPad T3. The volume control doesn't go quiet enough, is there any way of making the volume have more increments before turning the sound off altogether?
This is needed when watching Youtube, if i watch videos i can use VLC which has its own volume control, so no problems there.

There's an equaliser app called Precise Volume which might do what you want.

If that doesn't work you might have to look in to rooting and install viper2android + xposed + volume tweak although not sure if this is supposed on EMUI.

Also some discussion around possibly doing it in engineer mode but I don't know if that works.

I watch youtube in bed a lot. Head phones will only get in the way. The Nexus 7 had no problems getting to a very low volume.

As mentioned by @Sp00n Precise Volume would work or should do. This has worked for me in the past for all apps from YouTube, Audio Books, Netflix, Now TV etc.

My personal preference would be some decent in ear Bluetooth headphones for c£15-£25 as I find low background volume really annoying for video/media.

SpOOn : Precise Volume worked a treat. Thanks. I think I know what was causing me the problem; I'm used to having a speaker on the back of my device, but my new tablet has the speaker on the front thus making everything seem louder!
