Making coffee in a tea infuser, blasphemy?

I've recently bought one of these Bodum "yo yo" infusers for my loose tea:

I was just wondering if it would be okay to make some coffee in it (using the coffee I usually use in my cafetiere).

I'm sure the connoisseurs would spit in my face for even suggesting such a thing, but... yeah

In other news, PG Tips loose tea is...... pretty horrible!
