Making HTML/CSS changes in browser for testing

Is there anything available like a plugin for Firefox that allows me to handle the HTML of a page and make changes to it and see those changes take place on the fly as a temporary measure.

Do you know if anything is out there for me to use as an aid to tweaking a site?

But does that allow you to make the changes inside of the firebug window on already published websites?

Just to confirm. This isn't for sites I have locally. They are sites that are live (just like this one "overclockers")

Our companies website is complicated so I cant just download it and work from there.
