hi

have a couple of pc's with exact same specification but one of the pc's is in need of a reformat/os install etc.

I'm wandering if there is a way of copying the h/drive from the good pc and using that image so to speak to overwrite the bad pc's h/drive thus making two good pc's without having to go through individual program install etc.

Many thanks

This has a slight hint of Activation avoidance here, but, edging on the side of common sense, a godo way to do what you ask, is for something like GHOST or, for me, as I dont like Ghost, Partition Magic does a great job too!

Then again, I have nbever understood why people would want to bother tryign to use an old windows install... Id just format and resinstall... It only takes a few minutes to put everything back... Maybe an hour from start to finish, and thats with all the updates etc.
