Hey, i have have my current build for a while now, and due to my current change in housing situation, I am looking to make my current rig al ot more quieter, near silent if possible.

My Current Rig;

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - using stock Cooler
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard
XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply
Sony Optiarc AD-7240S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
Fractal Design Define R4 PC Case - Black/Pearl

Im looking for ways to make this quieter, Wiling to purchase some new parts if needed

Thanks, i dont think the noise is from the GFX because it doesn't really get used for anything big, i definitely think it is the GPU like you said, i was thinking about just getting a better silent cooler instead of the stock, any ideas?

lmfao sorry, i just typed GPU instead of CPU i knew what i meant haha, ill look at getting that SR1 CPU cooler, Any recommendations on a new GPU, thinking mine is terrible haha, couldn't run Saints Row 3 properly haha

Just had a look, anything a little cheaper haha, £150 is a bit much, seems as im not a massive pc gamer, i do dabble in it a bit though, so is nice to be able to run stuff
