Making photos smaller for email keeping origional Exif Data?

I need to resize some photos for email but when I right click then Send To and Email Reciprient it removes the origional Exif data - I need to retain the origional Exif data. How would I do this?

do you have photoshop? if so, just resize it in there and do a save rather than save for web.
