making pictures in oblivion

I want to show off my character but cant figure out what button it is to make a pic ive tried printscrn then going into paint but it desnt work you cant paste it.

Also not sure on how to use image shack :p
 
You need to edit

C:\Documents and Settings\Yourusername\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini

Search for bAllowScreenShot=0

and change it to bAllowScreenShot=1

then print screen will save pics in the C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion folder

For image shack just go to imageshack.us click browse and find your pic.

From Gamefaqs:

"Unlock Print Screen (PRTSCN) button
There is a setting in the INI file:
bAllowScreenShot=0

change to:
bAllowScreenShot=1

Also, two related items for the screenshots:
iScreenShotIndex=0
SScreenShotBaseName=Oblivion

There are two INIs, one in the game folder called "Oblivion_default.ini", this is the one it uses to generate the REAL one....
My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini

Edit the first one if you want to default to having screenshots on by default for all users. The settings it uses at runtime are the ones from My Documents folder.

After you mod the INI file, you can press PRTSCN button and Oblivion will write a BMP file to your game folder."
 
As far as I can tell, you CANNOT take screenies if FSAA is enabled. Works fine for HDR, but not FSAA. Or it might be the bloom which is causing the trouble: I tend to enable bloom and FSAA together.



Edit: confirmed - NO screenshots with FSAA enabled.
