Any of you guys explain the following in Laymen’s terms:

Warranties

1 The company, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, will assign the benefit of any guarantee and / or warranty covering any defects in equipment received by the company under an agreement with the manufacturer and / or supplier of the relevant equipment.

2 The warranty service (if any) will be that provided by the manufacturer and any validation procedures relating to that warranty service are the sole responsibility of the customer.

3 The company may at its discretion offer support and / or maintenance services with respect to equipment and / or service(s).

4 The warranty of the manufacturer or supplier is in lieu of all other terms or conditions whether express or implied concerning the quality and / or fitness for purpose of Products and all such other terms and conditions are hereby excluded.

Especially the last paragraph

The warranty of the manufacturer or supplier is in lieu of all other terms or conditions whether express or implied concerning the quality and / or fitness for purpose of Products and all such other terms and conditions are hereby excluded.

The agreement of the manufacturer to replace faulty goods is in place of all other terms or conditions, whether they have been stated or not, when it concerns the product not being good enough to fulfill its purpose, regardless of other terms and conditions.

Still not a great explanation, contracts are intended to be confusing :(
