Well, i'm still none the wiser as to what to do tbh, can anyone recommend a good freeware app for making fonts?

Isn't there a program with windows to make fonts?
I can't remember the command though.

this isn't lazyness, google is full of false information linking to sites that would love to give you the world most worst virus. Asking here pretty much guarantees you will find not only the best software for this but the safest.

unfortunately i can't reccomend any, i can only suggest possibly looking at famous font wesbites like www.dafont.com and see if they have any links to places that provide software for making fonts.

Thanks for that link, I checked out their tools section and found this freeware font maker;
