Male ear piercing?

Piercings & tatts like most things suit some people more than others. I personally think piercings on men are, or at least can (depending on the person) be very attractive. I will admit i do like symmetry.. mainly for lobes, not so much for other ear piercings.

Leave your new piercing in for the 6-12weeks that they recommend & then get it switched to the bcr, bar, bioplast or what ever you fancy. Try to not mess with it unless cleaning it, as it will slow the healing down ;)

pwned

What size plugs are u wearing?

Rook piercing could go quite nice with the industrial & anti-lobe, if your ever thinking of having more :p

I've had a sleeper in my left ear since the day I finished my GCSE's 14 years ago.

I've had various other piercings in the same ear over the years, but went back to the single hoop about 18 months ago.

Ah i see, did u get bored or have to take them out for work related reasons?

The tunnels used to occasionally get irritated and swell up/get a little sore from time to time, with the left one especially being so big it wasn't hard for something to get in there and irritate it even though when I showered they'd come out.

Also they were fine in a dirtbike helmet but once I started riding on the road the helmet started to irritate all of them, specifically the cartiledge piercings, and I just sort of fancied a change. I took the tunnels out first I think because they'd quite often bounce down the street when i took my lid off, then a week or two after that the rest came out, I just felt like it for some reason.

Sometimes consider having some more stuff done but I can't really be arsed. I prefer my ink really. Plus they sort of lost their appeal when they got more common.

Interestingly never had any problems work wise, and I've worked in a fair few places. I put it down to my boyish good looks and disarming smile.

I never understood the 'gaping hole through ear' rings. Look really 'bleugh' in my book.

Some massive ones give me the boak.

I got my left ear pierced when I was 7 or 8. Haven't worn anything in years, could poke it through again though. Don't really want too though, I like playing with the 'tunnel' bit of skin in my ear

:D

Ah i see what you mean. I had trouble with both my tragus piercings, the just wouldnt settle so i had to retire them both. I am considering retrying tho, with a bar & not a bcr .. and maybe 1 piercing at a time. When i had both tragus pierced, I had both nostrils done at the same time too lol

I thought the stigma between male ear piercing and homosexuality was very 80's.

I once went to school bragging of an having my ear pierced but all I had done was to stick on one of thoese gold hard cake decoration balls with super glue.

It's not gay but it's pretty self envolved. If you're not interesting without piercings and tatts you sure as hell aren't interesting with them. The whole individuality banner is a joke, it's a trend, a fad (with sub-fads within it) and there is nothing less individualistic than being a follower of fads.

I don't have mine to be interesting/different etc. I have mine because I felt like getting it done. I changed the piece of metal for one that I find more interesting and prefer, not for what others think about it or me.

Same with other jewlery I have (ring on middle finger and a tribal style necklace thing). I have them because I like them, not for any other reason. Having worn a ring on the middle finger of my right hand for the past 5 years it actually feels wrong if I'm not wearing it at any point, same with the piercing.

I've never removed mine due to work and will continue to leave it in for jobs etc. Never removed any of my other jewlery either...much to the annoyance of a girl at a previous job that had to remove her rings and piercings etc. :p :D

Only poofs and pirates wear earings.

Surely a poo pirate is a poof? :p
