Male/Female shoe sizes

Can anybody please tell me what UK size a 8.5 womens shoe is in mens? there's quite a bit of conflicting info on it from what I can find online. I usually order from the states and its pretty simple to convert there sizes to male then to UK male but a lot of sites give different values when converting between UK male/female.

Thanks dude, according to Google a UK womens 8.5 is a US womens 11, which according to your crossdressing site is a US mens 9, which according to Google is a UK mens 8.

That sound right to people? somebody should really make a java calc or something for this hehe.

Nope I always bought from the US previously (new stuff comes out there before here, if it makes it here) and its a different size. It gives a difficulty in conversions as because some sizes are listed as being the same they are actually just the closest match, so if you convert multiple times to get the answer it can end up out (i.e using the UK-W>US-W>US-M>UK-M conversion an 8.5 is an 8 but converting straight from UK-W>UK-M its a 7.5).
