Malta, chavy?

Went about two years ago, lovely waters around the island. A small boat trip to the surrounding caves and lagoons is a must.
No not chavy at all, in the young scrotes meaning of the word.

Umm where did you get that impression!?

I went end of september and it was wonderful. So so much to see and do that we want to go back, and even then we would never get around most of the things to see.

I'd highly reccomend hiring a car as you can go where you fancy and the roads and signs are like here.

The locals are fantastic and very friendly! The busses used to be good laugh but now they've had to be all sensible and get rid of the older ones :(

Well as i've been to both i can safely say they are nothing like each other. Malta is very laid back but there are party areas if you like that sort of thing but i didn't see any drunkeness the whole time we were there.

I would even go as far to say i would consider a honeymoon there as it was so enjoyable.

Malta is about as far from "chavvy" in Europe as you can get

If anything, it has a reputation as an old people's destination.

Paceville is starting to get that way, loud bars with flashing neon lights, strip clubs etc.

Stay away from there and the rest of the island is great and Gozo is ever quieter.

Malta is probably one of the few Med hot spots that has not sold itself out.
Its the first choice destination for most OAP's for a reason ;)
