Booked a 10 day trip to Malta in the summer as its somewhere the missus has always wanted to visit. Are there any "must do" and "avoid like the plague" tips anyone can share ? We're staying in St Paul's bay, me, wife and 2 teenage daughters. Generally prefer to do organised trips rather than hire a car and from reviews of the Hotel car hire is a pain as there's no parking anywhere near.

We're more interested in history, shopping & leisure than active sporty stuff or nightlife.

coupla days over gozo there's loads to see.

We normally stay on gozo when we goto malta.
where are you staying at St Paul's?

gjantija temples
citadella
salt pans
umpteen churches and caves to adventure about
there's a shooting range as well but I've never got round to booking it

xlendi bay for a spot of lunch is a lovely setting.
the pizza at ta nona was awesome last time I was there the one with white sauce and salmon was ace.
think it's the ya Bona special, Get decent seats and that's ye set for the evening tbh.

The fat rabbit at Ndur is fantastic
capitan spriss just past the bus area IMHO is the best coffee on the island

all of the little bakeries are very much the same but I prefer phoenix just before capitan spriss.

deffo gotta try the wudy with cheese rolls, they're awesome.

the opposite way from the bus station and towards the fountain is rizzles.
they do a great selection of cakes and treats very affordable.
