Didn't know where else to put this, basically, every website I go on it I get literally bombarded with pop up adverts (mostly amazon and ebay) and it even just opens popups if I click on a hyperlink. It has even started trying to download things, I have tried running malware removers. Anything else I can do? It only seems to affect Firefox.

Probably rouge addons installed in Firefox.

Disable System Restore
Manually remove Firefox Addons
Run CCleaner (to remove temp files)
Run MBAM

simple instructions worked perfectly for me.

Hated that discount dragon....

Then system restore back on now. Although I never use it myself, this is the responsible advice to give.

Disabled it at first so the malware can't lay dormant in there..

i used image drives so don't see any added advantage of sys restore.

thanks for instructions

Have you tried malwarebytes with latest updates on a full scan? It's pretty good at finding spyware.

Last time I had trouble with searchdial (I think it was) browser popup I used AdwCleaner to remove it. Just be careful as I have only used AdwCleaner once so I can't vouch for its reliability compared to malwarebytes.

The link below should give you a popup at bottom of your browser for Adwcleaner to run or save just don't click on Start download (sponsored links )

I have used ComboFix before as well but it can be like knocking a dent out of a car using a sledge hammer. :) You can't always be 100% certain what will happen and once you run it your along for the ride.
