Didn't even know you could do this! Mega Drive games on my PS3 would be sweeeeet!

From a quick Google it looks like you need to install Linux... I wouldn't know where to start.

No they didn't.

The PS3 Slim doesn't have 'Other OS' support; all original models do.

So can this still be installed on a regular PS3? And can it display any program you like from your PC? i.e ZSNES? for example

Ah I can see it can do many programs but not all. It states it does Emulators that support DX8,9 and 10 and Open GL. Anyone know if SNES emu's use any of these?

You can run ZSNES natively anyway under Linux.

Not sure there's a great deal of point in doing that. All you're doing is creating a wireless link between your PC and your TV through the PS3. If you're within reach of a cable then it's a bit pointless.
