So, my games room gets hot with my games PC on, even with the window open. So I've fitted a quiet bathroom extractor fan over the door which leads out to the landing. This will improve air flow from the window at the other end of the room. The landing side is standard 100mm round so I could redirect the hot air somewhere with 100mm duct. However I have 2 questions.
1. Can I easily convert 100mm round to rectangular because the ducting looks better.
2. Can I get a switchable rectangular duct splitter so I can direct the hot air to different rooms at different times?

You can definitely get the round to square adapter. I have one here for my kitchen extractor.

As has been said you can get rectangular to round duct convertors however i haven't seen gates/dampers for domestic type ventilation. You can get them for industrial metal ventilation systems but again i have only seen them in round ducting.
