I never normally post in these thread as i feel i don't know enough but having recently purscchased a 350D i look at everyone of them .Looks like great contrast and a good subject. Love the light hitting and seperating the two barriers.

Would a tighter crop maybe work? I'm not sure... but just an idea...

Also looks like the shot has been noise filtered (mottled sort of look) - did you try it with the noise in B&W? Noise often adds to B&W shots, I find..
