Man Finds Himself. A True Story

As comical as the topic is, this has actually happened several times over the years.

Who knows, perhaps the media just re-wrote an old story for the figures.
 
When I was volunteering doing Search & Rescue work we had the odd "******* search" where the mis-pur would be found supping ale in their local pub after we'd spent many hours in the cold and wet searching for them!
 
It says in that article, its not clear if he got a fine. Why the hell would he get a fine? He got drunk, his family reported him missing and he joined the search party which I will assume he didn't know the name of the missing person.

This has happened a few times. Also people attending their own funeral before what was happening.
