There's a place called "Lord of The Rings" on North Road (well High Northgate) on the corner of Arthur Street - I'd probably go there, purely because they've been there for as long as I can remember.

The guy in Stockton is the best piercer I have ever met - I trusted him and him alone with my bits and pieces.

Not really a great idea to get a substandard piercing for the sake of convenience.

I wear a wooden bead necklace and a bead bracelet sometimes - depends what other clothes I'm wearing. I used to have a leather band around my other wrist, until it fell off. :(

There's no reason why it can't look good. I'm not into metal jewellery or piercings, but I don't see any reason why they can't look good either.

Does he travel, and what are his prices like?

He's at Stockton at the moment, dunno if he'll travel anywhere. Prices should be reasonable.

Put it this way - if he was working in Cornwall, I'd travel there from Geordieville to see him.

That's completely subjective but here are a few which I find rather nice (courtesy of ModBlog, all copyright Shannon Larratt):

<pics of pierced girls>

Thing is they look ok because the girls are pretty and their high quality pics. Most of the face piercings I see walking down the street just look like accidents having involved exploding machinery.

I dont go nuts but guys can get away with a fair amount of silver jewellery. I generally jus have watch, thumb ring and middle finger (thumb is plain, middle finger is a bit more decorative) and fairly plain band on other hand (wedding finger but wrong hand). Its not excessive - have a look at "alternative" males (eg guitar bands etc) in general - that sort of level.
So long as its not something massive and "bling" it looks fine - if pics would pursuade ppl then ill sort later :p

It's part of Skin Deep tattoo parlour which as you quite rightly say has been there forever. Both it and the piercing studio have a great rep.

Was trying to think what it was called, but I couldn't remember - despite living less than 10 minutes walk from it for 8 years, once upon a time. :o
