After far too many "I must get around to watching that" moments, I finally watched Man On The Moon. :)

Andy Kaufman, and his story is something that has always interested me greatly and this film, although not completely accurate, does one hell of a job of getting as close to is as possible.

Jim Carrey's performance is nothing short of superb. For those two hours, he IS Kaufman.

Fantastic film and now one of my all time favourites.

Absolutely fantastic film that. First time I watched it I caught it about 20 minutes in and it did nothing for me; you really need to sit and watch it in peace from start to end.

I watched this again a couple of weeks ago and it's up there as one of my favourite films. Carey is brilliant and is Kaufman your spot on there. Shame is apparently its far off the mark in regards to Kaufmans life and lots of stuff is in the wrong place, but as a film its brilliant.

Agreed. Superb film and a superb title track by REM. I think it must have been wierd for the cast of Taxi when filmed the Taxi scene, as you say Carey basically is Kaufman, must have stirred up some emotions there. I put this alongside Ed Wood as one of those biopics which you probably wouldn't take a second glance at, but when you sit down and watch it you end up thanking yousrself.
