Description and overview
A "one box" watercooling kit from XSPC. Aimed squarely at the enthusiast builder who is considering moving from aircooling to watercooling but who perhaps feels a bit caught in the headlights with regards to the plethora of choice, let alone compatibles involved in putting together a loop. The kit contains everything you need apart from the cooling fluid itself, and the large selection of brackets and fixings permit it to be used with most if not all CPUs and socket types.
The 750 RS240 kit forms part of the greater range of XSPC watercooling kits and Products. For details of the full range and compatibility of XSPC kits visit ??????????? at http://??????????????????? [B]Fi... of instructions couldn't be too much to ask.

Excellent review of the type of product I am seriously considering upgrading too :)
Out of curiosity you mention that the pump could handle another 120.2, would adding anything bigger than a 120.2 + GPU block be too much stress for the pump in your opinion?

I have just bought the 360 version but I haven't got it fully installed yet. I have to agree completely with G-Dubs that it seems excellent value for money, but I was surprised at the lack of instructions that came with the kit.

Just checked mine as I was about to install the rest of it, it only came with two 3-pin to 4-pin adapters and 4 fan grills!

I have the VGA version of the Rasa and it's a cracking block. I used to have a Aquaextreme MP-1 on a heavily clocked 5850. When i swapped to the Rasa it knocked 6 degrees off the load temps. Very underated blocks which is a shame because they are very good.

The kit does have a lot going for it.
The pump/res can't be put in the 'wrong' place or incorrect order (ideal for beginers)
But no mention of using extra tubeing (for filling/bleeding) with a bay res is not good
Under rated but quality 'bank for buck' block (you'll need to pay double for a 3-4c drop)
Easy to upgrade (but buying twice is always more expensive)
All in one box (inc 7/16 tube over 1/2 barbs is a nice touch)
The main issue is a RS240 rad isn't any better that a £50 air cooler with two fans so somewhat pointless imho

I like the RX version of that kit and the EK high flow kit are better.
But for the same money a custom loop can be 'tuned' to your needs

would one of these loops with a rasa on a 5830 work, or even 2 5830's with rasas? on this one loop or would i need a 360rad or maybe a better pump?

Very nice write up. I agree that reams of boring graphs and charts are a waste but I would really like to see what your temps are like on your kit. Just a stock vs overclock would be good. I am thinking of using this kit on a mates new gaming rig. So would be quite handy.

The Rasa GPU is the second most restrictive block, only the MCW80 is worse. If you're going to get a GPU block and want low restriction, you want a MCW60, but I've settled on an EK VGA Supreme HF, as it has good performance, ok flow rates and it's quite cheap. The Rasa is the best GPU block, performance wise, but you need some good pumping power.
