Get in.......:D

Totally well chuffed, considering our abysmal away form and early season mediocrity we pull through and win the Premiership.

Bring on Barca.....:)

As a Liverpool fan, let me be the first to congratulate them. Been a quite poor season for many of the big teams, silly points dropped often, but they have ended top so they deserve the title. Congrats to on the 19 titles, records are made to be broken and finally that one has, wont be the last time of course, but many congratulations to utd and fergie.

Bad referreeing all around hasnt helped (its arguable who has lost / gained more) but I still dont get why people say its the worst top four etc, or is it just the rest battling harder (especially the 5 - 16 places) than a lot of teams in the past

Its difficult /impossible to quantify but imo it should be celebrated that teams are a lot closer, rather than knock the top teams for not being as good

Well I didn't really say it was the big teams being worse , I merely said they dropped points more this season , I leave the reader to decide why that was.

Thank you Tombstone. While we're being magnanimous Liverpool have shown they'll be a threat again next season if they spend wisely this summer.

Heard this a few times now and I've yet to see the amazing come back people talk of.

Liverpool had some great players a few years ago but have slowly lost them. I can't see them even getting back to that level when they won the Champions League a few years ago.

Keep dreaming, perhaps in 5 or 10 years time.

No problem, I don't diss teams just because of their shirts and I give credit where its due, utd has been the dominant force in the epl for a long while and have played like champions and deserved their success. I see no reason to knock them for it and every reason to congratulate :)

I hope we can have a productive summer and offer more of a challenge next year, because its good for us, the spectators , to have as many teams up there fighting for the title as possible.

I would like to see Liverpool competing up there for the title, it is entertaining.

But, the voice in the back of my head just screams yeah right.

I wouldn't mind being wrong next season, so I guess we'll see.

On the plus side, that voice in the back of your head , 20 years ago would have screamed yeah right, about the chance of utd reaching 19 titles in the next 20 years. Goes to show anything is possible. :)

We'll see what happens and both hope that Liverpool can mount a great title challenge.

If there were 10 or so games left to go and LP kept up their recent performance, they could have been in for a chance.

Thats the thing really, IF they kept it up. We'll never know if it would have been the case. Credit to Liverpools comeback though but it is to little to late. I also think Everton had a good comeback if we look back at the beginning of the season and how bad they were doing.

A lot of the top 4 go on good runs at some point in the season.

Haha that is true :)

Saying that I DO believe Liverpool will be back up there, just when is another matter.
