Only caught the second half as had footy training. We looked reasonably comfortable, Fletcher had a cracking second half, one thing I've not noticed before is how fit he is, he really covered the whole pitch tonight.
Ruud should have scored a couple, obviously the penalty (which I did feel was a penalty, if you're turning inside for a shot on goal and the defender stops that with his arm, it has to be) and when he was put clean through. Friedel saved well, but poor finishing really, I'd have been dissapointed to not tuck that one away.
Good result in the end and as with any Man Utd game, some brilliant flashes from Rooney. I'm really looking forward to the world cup, sod Sven, it's all about our current crop of players.
