At somepoint last night I obviously hit into something hard while my BlackBerry Bold 9780 was in my pocket, half the screen is white and unusable. I've had it for literally 4 days on a 24month contract and I don't have insurance, I'm with o2. What is this going to cost me?

If it's after four days and you don't remember the exact event... you sure it couldn't have been a fault with the device itself? Is there any visible damage?

Might be worth trying to return it for a new one.

Just send of and get the screen replaced. No idea on black dreys. But it's usually £30-50.

Then look at your bank and see what they offer for a premium account. I pay £13 a month and get insurance (water, theft, loss, damage) for 4 phones unto £600 each, uk and eu breakdown cover, travel insurance, gadget cover for I think it's 6 things unto £300 each.
Well worth it IMO.

I don't remember what happened but it definetely looks like somethings bashed it, its just part of the screen not the whole thing. I'll take it in tomorrow and see what they say.

What bank are you with Acid? Sounds like a good deal.

I only get cover for one phone (up to £500), AA cover and travel insurance for £8/month
