My main profession is due to reach the next level, moving out of being a senior officer and on to low level management. As the environment that we work in is challenging and adversarial (namely colleagues!) I apparently fit the bill for the person they want to lead at entry level management, however, through various tests and psych reviews it has been identified that I could benefit from some leadership/assertiveness training.
Whilst there are very few out there specific to this subject area, are there any all-round management courses which have good modules in this area contained within?
For information I don't need any more degrees as I already have two, but don't have any issue with Certificate/Diploma. At a push I could do MBA but I'd rather not commit so much time into this. Work will be paying for the training.
