Manager Merry Go Round 2014

As much as I would love that to happen, it doesn't matter if you can't offer ambitious players £100k+ per week and 'champions league football'. So you just end up with an expensive manager to keep bringing through players to sell to the top 4.

No Ben Fairthorne is a known liar it would have been announced already if it was today United like to do press stuff early in the day

They fly out to Portugal for their pre tournament training camp tomorrow so I expect it will be today at some point.

I have it on good authority that Van Gall will be unveiled as the new manager of MUFC before the close of the January transfer window.

Marcel Bout joins as Assistant Coach, specialising in opposition scouting having previously worked for Bayern Munich, Telstar, AZ, FC Volendam and Feyenoord.

Ends.

Three year deal. So they have less belief in him than they did Moyes .

;)

I really struggled to see the point of giving Moyes a 6 year contract. I guess he could have been a wild success and Madrid or Bayern could have come knocking:rolleyes:

I am however super pleased about Van Gaal.

I was never convinced at all by the appointment of Moyes and last season needs to be forgotten ASAP. Bring on next season!

Best kept secret in football:p. About time they finally confirmed LVG as Utd's next manager.

One thing is for sure, next season will be mighty interesting especially the top 4.

Oh well the argument presented by youstolemyname about any top manager available or otherwise would not be interested in the Utd role

I think we can safely put that argument from 'The Voice of Football' to bed for a year or two ;)
