Manchester or Toledo for Music Making?

Which one will clock better? Which one will be better for audio sequencing?

Depends on the chip,

The manchesters are usually 512kb cache and the toledos 1mb cache.

However I had a 512kb toledo core x2 3800


For encoding etc.. the cpu with the most cache will come out on top.

cheers everyone, I couldn't get hold of a Toledo for the money I had so I got a 4600+ Manchester instead. It absolutely flies, got it up to 2.7 so far and thats with the default voltage. The only issue I'm having is that one core is 6 Celsius higher than the other. Whats that about?

Either a bad mount or poor contact between the cores and the IHS.
