Going to Manchester Uni to see Milburn end of this month and then hopefully will be heading into town for a night out after the gig.

Never been up there before so if anyone has any recommendations on where to go at night and any ideas where we can stay for relatively cheap? It'll only be for one night.
 
Indie bars sound pretty appealing, would just be good to have a few places to keep an eye out for when we head up there.

Has anyone got any idea where we can stay around The Academy? How far away is it from decent pubs/clubs or whatever?
 
Found a travel lodge room with a £29 discount so it's only £26/night for up to 3 adults. 1.4 miles away from the Academy :D

Book early, you need to book 2 weeks in advance otherwise you lose it. They also sell out very quickly, so, if you are sure, go abd book.

finally, those rooms are non-refundable, thus, makesure you want it.
