So since the beginning of the year I've been doing a Project 52 so I thought I'd create a thread so you lot can abuse me accordingly. :D

The only limitation I'm putting on myself is to be as varied as possible with subjects and style so as to try and stick my nose in to all types of photography.

Anyhow Weeks 1-6 below and I'll update the thread weekly when I've got another shot to add.

Week 1 - Dull Day by m.ww, on Flickr

Week 2 - Iron at sunset by m.ww, on Flickr

Week 3 - Odd one out by m.ww, on Flickr

Week 4 - Beer Time! by m.ww, on Flickr

Week 5 - My Eye...My EYE by m.ww, on Flickr

Week 6 - Droplet Collage by m.ww, on Flickr

Very nice! I think the photo a week is far more achievable to a half decent level of quality rather than the 'photo a day' ... a few friends of mine are doing this for a year and they are already turning into 'Instragram of my tea a day' :( ... your shots look very good :)

Great idea... I'll keep an eye on this thread!! :)... Good work!!

Cheers Scott!

Good idea! Subscribed

Thanks for subbing :)

Yeah there is no way I could ever do a 365. I'm following a guya on Flickr who did one last year and the consistency of his work was astonishing and he's doing another this year and its still superb.

Some lovely shots there.

I am also doing a 52 week thing, but haven't really posted them all together (may well have to now you have done this:))

Can I ask how you got the eye so clear? every time I try it doesn't end up right, and i pick faults in the photograph and reject it.

Prefer the first three so far, but great idea! :)

I'd love to say it was something more than trial and error but it wasn't.

I took it with a Sigma 50mm f2.8 EX DG Macro in natural sunlight as I didn't want any kind of indoor lighting reflecting in my eye and probably took 15 shots to get this one. If you look carefully you can actually see my back door reflecting in my eyeball!

I then simply set the camera to f8 : 1/100 : ISO800 which slightly under exposed it and then processed it in Photomatix then Lightroom.
