Perihelion Interactive's staff have previous credits for the following franchises: Assassin's Creed 1&2, Mafia 2, Alan Wake, FarCry 2&3, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures,Call of Duty 3, Splinter Cell, Planet of the Apes, Saga of Ryzom, FIFA ONLINE, FarCry Evolution, Rainbow 6 Vegas, The Secret World and more.

^^ Staff work experience. Mandate does look interesting. Concept sounds great but i am not sure how the inside ship interactions are going to work (is it just jagged alliance type combat for instance?). A large meaningful part of the game is the ship interior interactions with crew apparently?

according to kicktraq its on track to hit 92% of its goal. I really hope it doesnt fail that close to completion. Im already a backer of it.

Having game development costing so much, I wonder if 500,000 is really enough. Though they did mention procedurally generated areas so I guess that would help offset the cost.

I wasn't massively impressed when I saw this a few days ago, still not really getting much of a feel for it. Have to agree with Temp.sgk too, they'll need a lot more funding than half a million.

Might reconsider in a few days but not tempted to make it my fifth kickstarter

Baulders Gate style combat when storming ships and visiting planets please.

No Thank You!...we have moved on since Baldur's Gate.

Xcom style combat and I'm in:)

Loving the look of this. Will definitely invest and keep an eye on it, probably closer the time though.

Interesting focus in the game. I just hope what works on TV works in a game because the opposite is rarely true! I did enjoy the crew interaction elements of Mass Effect though.

Done a $20 pledge for now.

Doubt it's at a stage where the combat is ready to show to be fair, looks nice and polished, can't help thinking the control/combat will be dull though (will be buying if it's not).
